DAY 1: ZANZIBAR – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

An early morning departure at 08:50 am from Zanzibar Airport to Arusha Airport, after arrival at Arusha airport you will be picked up by our Safari guide to our 4×4 safari land cruiser, and start your way to Tarangire National Park. In around 2 hours you will arrive at the park’s gate where you will register at the park’s gate and start on your first safari game drives right away. Here you will have the opportunity to see the most magnificent herds of African elephants against the backdrop of a beautiful savannah environment of majestic baobab trees, which are beautifully bare in the dry season, and lush green in the wet season. While there is an abundance of resident animal wildlife all year round, the best season to see migratory wildlife is August to October. Enjoy your lunch with the magnificent views of Tarangire and the tight-knit elephant families from a distance. Later drive to your Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY: 2 NGORONGORO CRATER – ZANZIBAR

After breakfast, descend into the crater with a lunch box enjoying the game drive for more than six hours, The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants.
Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard crater floor.
Later in the afternoon after satisfactory game drives, you will be taken through Arusha Airport for your evening flight back to Zanzibar Island where your safari ends.
